Description:
The sculptural image of the Angel, created according to the canons of the Russian Orthodox Church, the composition revives the traditions of Old Russian sculpture in metal and opens up a new direction to the decorative sculpture adorned with the unique Zlatoust-style metal engraving technique. The silvery, as if "morning light", sculpture of the Angel holding the cross, is mounted on a cylindrical base. The Lord created Angels in His image and likeness, and therefore they are inexpressibly beautiful and immortal. The word "angel" means "messenger." The sculptor created an image of a spiritual entity, symbolizing the elevation of man over everything worldly and vain.
