Description
O.P. Taezhnaya-Cheshuina is a sculptor, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. She specialized in easel and decorative sculpture, was engaged in plastics of small forms. The sculpture "Odette" was made in 1954 in the series "Ballet." Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" (1876) - a girl who was transformed into a swan by a sinister charm, but overcame witchcraft with the power of faithful love. The ballerina is depicted leaning on the toe of her left leg with her right leg bent at the knee, laid back, her body bent to the right, her arms raised above her head. The inscription on the face of the stand: "Odette". The Kasli plant has been casting the sculpture since 1957.
