Glued laminated timber

Glued laminated timber fully preserves the positive properties that nature has bestowed on wood. These houses are very warm, which saves on costs for heating. At the same time, the walls of houses from glued timber are much thinner than those of the same brick structures. For comparison, a 70-80 cm thick silicate brick home wall is equivalent in terms of thermal protection to a 20-23 cm wide laminated timber wall. But with the same heat-shielding characteristics, a glued laminate wall does not reduce the space of the rooms. The main raw material for the manufacture of profiled and structural glued timber are coniferous woods. Houses made of laminated veneer lumber during construction do not shrink, and houses from an array, unfortunately, cannot boast of such quality.
