Earlier, a hygienic certificate (called otherwise a sanitary and epidemiological conclusion) was a document that confirmed the conformity of products to approved sanitary rules and hygienic norms. However, the issuance of this document was canceled from 01.07.2010, due to changes in the legislation of the Russian Federation. Now, instead of this document, the goods, included in the list of products subject to state registration, will be issued a certificate of state registration (SGS), and for goods not included in this list - an expert opinion of Rospotrebnadzor. The certificate of state registration is valid in every state included in the Customs Union. The rules for issuing this permit are regulated by the CCC Decision, registered under the numbers 299. Products subject to hygiene certification: Without the participation of specialists, the issue of the need to issue a certificate of state registration (CGR) can not be uniquely resolved. On the other hand, the list of products for which the SGS is required does not have a clear link to the All-Russian Classifier of Products. Some products are subject to this type of verification only if this is provided for by the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union, under which they are certified.
