The relief is an enlarged copy of the relief, located on the guardian of the main altar of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Moscow, N. Laveretsky (1837 - 1907) - Russian sculptor. Academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg.
The enlarged relief was worked out at the A. Lokhtacheva Sculpture Workshop by Natalia Lokhtacheva, where the author’s character and modeling style were carefully studied (N. A. Laveretsky). The Last Supper is one of the most famous plots of the New Testament story, the last meal of Jesus Christ with His twelve closest disciples, during which He established the sacrament of the Eucharist and predicted the betrayal of one of the disciples.
