Organization of container trains In close cooperation with the largest Russian transport group FESCO, whose licensed agent is Ardena Transport in Uzbekistan, our company organizes container train units from Vladivostok (Russia) and Riga (Latvia) to cities in Uzbekistan, based on railway service schedules, as well as forwarding in port, terminal processing, provision of own container fleet, delivery to the warehouse. This service is convenient and more economical for container shipments of dry cargo from ports in Southeast Asia and Europe. “Accelerated container trains are regular trains that follow a tight schedule according to a timetable, formed from specialized or universal cars and platforms loaded with containers. Unlike conventional transfer, accelerated container trains, depart at regular intervals and follow to the destination station without re-formations and sorts. The container train (block-train) consists of 40-55 wagons and can carry up to 120 TEU (TEU) (twenty-foot equivalents). If necessary, one-time accelerated container trains are formed, as opposed to regular (shuttle) trains, they serve one-time cargo shipments of containers. The feasibility of forming such a single composition in terms of economic efficiency is carefully calculated in advance.
