Universal expansion joints

Universal bellows compensator device that is capable of simultaneously sensing and reverse bias of several types: - tension / compression along a specified axis; - turns relative to a single / multiple axes; - shifts are for one / several axes. In shipbuilding expansion bellows are used on all systems, without exception, in connection with impossibility of application of other types of compensation of thermal deformations due to the limited amount of shipboard space. The diameters of the pipes from 65 to 1800 mm, for pressure up to 100 kgf/sq cm, temperature up to 550 °C. All designs of bellows expansion joints made in such a way as not to convey the distance of the effort from the pressure of fluid assemblies and mechanisms. The main advantage over other types of expansion joints for ship systems is their ability, in addition to compensation of temperature deformations of pipelines to absorb vibrations transmitted through pipelines of units and mechanisms.
